Seminole Financial Services, LLC announced today the closing of a $6.9 million equity investment in a 70-unit multifamily project known as Two Itasca Place located in Itasca, Illinois, approximately 30 miles west of Chicago. The property sits within one mile of the famed Medinah Country Club, host to several U.S. Open and PGA Golf Championships, and home to the 2012 Ryder Cup. The equity investment, combined with a senior loan from a local bank, will allow the developer, The Marquette Companies, to acquire the project and to fund interior and exterior capital improvements. Two Itasca Place is the second of two, five-story buildings which comprise Itasca Place, housing a combined total of 140 units.
